DETAILS

LNS 316L is used for welding of 316 and 316L grade stainless steels. It is used for a wide range of applications including pipework and plate fabrication, vessel production etc. The weld metal has a high resistance to crevice corrosion by oxidising acids.

  • High resistance to intergranular corrosion and general corrosion conditions
  • The 2-3% molybdenum improves pitting corrosion resistance of the weld deposit
