Lincoln Electric proudly introduces the Flex Lase® Handheld Laser Welding System—a powerful, easy-to-use 2kW solution designed to deliver high-precision welds at significantly faster travel speeds.

Backed by decades of expertise in laser welding technology, the Flex Lase system empowers operators with speed, accuracy, and simplicity. Capable of welding up to four times faster than traditional TIG processes, the Flex Lase system helps operators boost productivity while reducing training time thanks to its intuitive design.

Key Features:

  • Fast Travel Speeds: Boost productivity without compromising quality—up to four times faster than TIG.
  • Easy Onboarding: Reduce training time and have new operators executing production-quality welds sooner than traditional welding processes.
  • High Precision Welding: Focused heat input minimizes distortion and spatter, ensuring consistent welds across various materials and thicknesses.

The Flex Lase system supports both autogenous and wire-fed processes—including Lincoln Electric’s HyperFill® twin-wire technology. It’s optimized for stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of industrial applications.

The Flex Lase Handheld Ready-Pak®, includes:

  • Flex Lase 20 Power Source (2-year warranty)
  • Flex Feed® 25L Wire Feeder (industry-leading 5-year warranty)
  • Industrial Cart for easy mobility
  • Accessories such as laser-rated eyewear and welding helmet

“It was only a matter of time before Lincoln Electric brought its deep laser welding expertise to a handheld solution,” says David Lansberry, Portfolio Manager of Industrial Equipment at Lincoln Electric. “The Flex Lase Handheld Laser Welding System delivers the speed and precision operators need—without the steep learning curve.”

Safety First:

The Flex Lase power source is a Class 4 laser instrument and must be operated with strict adherence to safety protocols. Operators must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work within an approved Laser Controlled Area (LCA). Organizations are required to designate a qualified Laser Safety Officer (LSO). For comprehensive safety guidelines, refer to AWS Safety and Health Fact Sheet No. 46, ANSI Z136.1, ANSI Z136.9, IEC 60825-1, and ISO 11553-1.
