Basic very low hydrogen electrode for creep resistant grades welding

DETAILS

CROMOCORD KV3L is a low Carbon basic coated 2,25%Cr 1%Mo electrode suitable for welding creep resistant steels like 10CrMo9-10, 12CrMo9-10, SA387 Gr22Cl1 and Cl2, SA 182 F22, SA 335 Gr P22, and similar. The low carbon reduces the risk of cracking and promotes a lower tensile strength and hardness in the all weld metal deposit. Approved up to +600°C. Very low diffusible hydrogen (HD<4ml/100g).

Features

  • Stable arc with excellent bead shape.
  • Preheat min. 160°C, interpass up to 250°C.
  • Efficiency about 105%.
  • Suitable for use with DC positive.

  • All positions, except vertical down
