DETAILS

MERIT® JG-56 is a copper coated GTAW solid wire for mild steels, using 100% Ar shielding gas. It is suitable for butt welding and fillet welding of carbon steel pipe fittings and structural components with a strenghth of 500MPa. With excellent welding performance and a smooth, uniform copper coating, the welding rod can be used for welding general structural steel, and is particularly suitable for root pass welding.
