Weld-Pak® 45i Plasma DV

K5420-1

The Weld-Pak® 45i Plasma DV dual-voltage plasma cutter is a professional grade, lightweight, portable plasma cutting system ideal for metal cutting on a wide variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper.

DETAILS

The Weld-Pak® 45i Plasma DV dual-voltage plasma cutter is versatile and portable, weighing only 25 lbs. This plasma cutter is rated for 3/4" material on 230 VAC input, and 1/4" material on 120 VAC. The case has a tool box top for storing cables or tools. You can easily carry it to any job site and start cutting projects. This system can handle everything, whether cutting through thick metal or working with expanded metal. With its 45 amp capability, you can tackle even the most challenging cutting tasks. It is ideal for the farm, HVAC, autobody shop, contractor, sheet metal fabricator, and homeowner, for metal cutting jobs. The 45i Plasma initiates the plasma arc with a simple yet reliable touch-start mechanism that eliminates many failure problems associated with high-frequency start systems. The control system includes a Parts-in-Place™ feature to ensure consumables are in place before initiating the cutting process. Hook up the compressed air, grab the torch, and start cutting.

Features

  • The Lincoln Electric Weld-Pak® 45i Plasma DV is recommended for cutting sheet metal to 1/2 in. material with a maximum capacity of 3/4 in.
  • Inverter design makes the 25 lbs. unit very portable and ideal for HVAC and autobody work.
  • Operates on 230V for max. output, and 120V for use with standard household receptacles.
  • For cutting expanded metal, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass & copper - any electrically conductive metals.
  • No high-frequency output. Pilot arc - best for cutting through rusty, dirty metals.
  • Simple to use - attach compressed air, power up, pull the trigger, and start cutting.
  • Fan-cooled unit has 40% duty cycle at max. output.
  • Convenient tool box top for storage.
  • Uses standard compressed air, 65 PSI @ 3.5 CFM.
  • Compact Torch connector - saves operating & storage space.
