Power Wave® Process Modules unlock advanced welding technologies for compatible third-generation Power Wave® S-Series and R-Series power sources, providing greater process flexibility, application versatility, and performance without replacing your existing welding system. These modules integrate seamlessly into the Power Wave ecosystem, allowing fabricators to add specialized welding capabilities as operational requirements evolve.

The Power Wave® Advanced Module adds AC welding, High Frequency TIG, STT® (Surface Tension Transfer®), and expanded multi-process capabilities, enabling operators to tackle applications ranging from aluminum welding and pipe fabrication to heavy equipment manufacturing, shipbuilding, pressure vessels, automotive production, and trailer fabrication. The module supports GMAW, Pulsed MIG, TIG, Stick, and STT® processes with advanced waveform control technology.

For fabricators focused on root-pass welding, thin materials, and low heat input applications, the Power Wave® STT® Module adds Lincoln Electric's industry-leading STT® process technology. STT® uses current control independent of wire feed speed to deliver superior arc performance, excellent penetration, reduced spatter, lower fume generation, and exceptional puddle control. The process is particularly effective for pipe root pass welding, thin gauge materials, stainless steel, nickel alloys, galvanized steel, and robotic welding applications.

Both modules feature integrated ArcLink® digital communications for fast plug-and-play installation, a Quick Lock mounting system that securely mounts beneath the power source, intelligent protection against voltage transients and misconnection, and synchronized fan operation that minimizes power consumption and noise. Their compact IP23-rated design provides reliable operation in demanding industrial environments while preserving valuable floor space.
